Here are some common troubleshooting steps to consider:

  1. All databases require authentication, please access the library website via MyCLU portal.
  2. If downloading a complete eBook, our database requires Adobe Digital Editions. Download this free software before attempting a full eBook download.
  3. If you were using Google Chrome browser while viewing/downloading ProQuest ebooks, clear your cache and cookies and try again. Alternatively, try to access the ebook using another internet browser, such as Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.
  4. Review Ebook Central's Help Page (linked below).

If the above doesn’t resolve the issue, feel free to e-mail CLUlibrary@callutheran.edu with screenshots of error messages or describe what exactly happens when you try to open/download an ebook.
